Natural, creamed canola honey from rural Manitoba.

 

When honey is harvested, it is warm liquid. As it cools, it solidifies through formation of crystals. These large crystals give the honey a grainy, sugary texture. To prevent this, the liquid honey is seeded with a couple spoonfuls of honey that has a fine crystal structure. The honey is then periodically stirred for 24 hours to continuously break up the formation of large granules. The end result is the delicious creamy texture.
